Personal Information.  In most cases, you do not need to provide us with any personal information in order to browse and enjoy the site.  However, in some cases you may provide us with personal information in order to use certain features of the Site or to communicate with us.  For example, if you send us an email message using the “contact us” section of our Site, you will need to provide your name and email address which will be delivered with the email message.  If you want to take a personality test offered on the site, you will need to provide any non-optional information requested by the test, which may include your name and email address as well as additional demographic, employment, income and relationship status information in addition your responses to the test questions.

 

Technical Information.  Like most web sites, when you visit our Site we automatically collect certain types of information about your visit to the Site.  Our servers automatically collect data about your IP (“Internet Protocol”) address when you visit us.  When you request pages from our Site, our servers may log your IP Address and sometimes your domain name.  We may also collect information about: the referring page that linked you to us (e.g., another website or a search engine); the pages you visit on our Site; the website you visit after this Site; other information about the type of web browser, computer, platform, related software and settings you are using; any search terms you have entered on this Site or a referral website; and other web usage activity and data.

 

How we use Information.

 

Any personal information that we collect will be used to customize your experience on the Site and, if you have shared your email address with us, to send you occasional email updates.  We will use information collected during the personality tests to calculate and show you the results of the test, to gain insights into the types of users visiting the site, and for research and statistical purposes.  We reserve the right to use statistical and aggregated results of the personality tests for research, marketing and promotional purposes, but only to the extent that doing so will not violate your privacy.

 

Any technical information will be used to operate and improve the Site, to analyze Site trends, to track user movements around the Site.  We reserve the right to use any Site Technical Information which does not constitute personal information for any reason which we deem necessary.

 

 

How we Share Information.

 

All information, whether personal or technical in nature, will be shared within and among the Rational Group of companies, our employees, contractors and agents.  In doing so, we may also combine your personal information collected from your use of the Site with other information collected from you using other services operated a member of the Rational Group of companies including, but not limited to, online poker websites operated under the brands “PokerStars” (including the Site) and “Full Tilt Poker” as well as all products which are related or ancillary thereto, including mobile and social networking services.
